Scientific activity

Our research focuses on the experimental study of the effects of dipole-dipole interactions in highly correlated quantum systems of a few dozen to a few hundred cold atoms. We use three experimental set-ups, in which interactions between atoms are obtained either by excitation to Rydberg states, or induced by illuminating them with quasi-resonant light.
