Scientific activity
We are developing a new electromechanical quantum device capable of providing complete control of the quantum state of a macroscopic mechanical resonator by combining a phononic micro-cavity with a superconducting qubit. We hope to achieve a high qubit-phonon coupling rate for elementary quantum operations. This will have important applications in the field of quantum information and detectors.
