We were able to present the QuanTiP DIM and our activities to the general public. To kick things off, we used the game Entanglion as a basis for discussing quantum technologies. In this collaborative board game, participants must work together to travel through space and recover the spare parts of a quantum computer. It was the perfect opportunity for us to talk about the challenges currently facing research in the field of high technology production.
For younger visitors, we also had the Lasermaze game at our stand. By manipulating mirrors and splitter blades, young and old alike were able to solve the different levels by directing the light as they wished.
Finally, visitors were able to brush up on their basic knowledge of optical physics with the Lightbox kit from the Atouts Sciences association. A refresher for some, a great discovery for others.
