The DIM QuanTiP invites you to come to the heart of research, close to the equipment and researchers, by inviting you to come and discover the laboratories.
In collaboration with the DIM team and doctoral students on doctoral missions, it is possible to arrange a visit to one or more laboratories.
November 11, 2025: Laboratory of Physics of Lasers (LPL)

espace
On November 19, 2025, about twenty students from Amiens visited the Laser Physics Laboratory at Sorbonne Paris Nord University.
The day began with a presentation of Lucas Jarjat’s thesis (as part of his doctoral fellowship with QuanTiP), followed by tours of the lab facilities and an introduction to the Atouts Science association with Christophe Daussy.
April 11, 2025: LTE – Paris Observatory

espace
On April 11, 2025, 30 students from the Lycée International de l’Est Parisien visited the LTE (formerly SYRTE).
During the day, students were able to explore the observatory’s laboratory and gardens, learning about the research currently being conducted there. Everyone also had the opportunity to play Entanglion, our collaborative board game in which the goal is to rebuild a quantum computer. They also served as beta testers for the board game adapted from the Lightbox kit developed by the Atouts Sciences association.
The tour ended on the roof of the observatory, where the students enjoyed the view of the capital.

April 5, 2025: SYRTE – Paris Observatory

espace
On April 5, 2024, around twenty students from the Lycée International de l’Est Parisien came to SYRTE to visit the laboratory.
Divided into three groups, the students explored the observatory’s corridors and gardens to learn more about laboratory research. They also played Entanglion, a collaborative board game in which the goal is to gather the components needed to build a quantum computer.
