2026
Place : 99 avenue Jean-Baptiste Clément, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, VILLETANEUSE
In early January, the Sorbonne Paris Nord University is organizing an Orientation, Science, and Culture Week for its students.
For this occasion, the QuanTiP DIM is returning to present the “Optical Tweezers” experiment in a workshop entitled: “Light/Matter Interaction – Optical Tweezers in Quantum Physics.”
Summary: Try to reveal the mystery on the main principles of quantum physics! Come and experience an “Optical Tweezers” for yourself, trapping ink particles using a laser to understand the interactions between light and matter. Discuss possible applications and underlying physical phenomena with doctoral students.
As last year, we will present two 45-minute sessions, the first at 10 a.m. and the second at 11 a.m.
