Scientific activity

We study the dynamics and quantum control of fundamental processes (excitation, transport, ionization, dissociation, energy exchange and/or relaxation), induced by radiation or an external field on systems that are generally isolated and in the gas phase (atoms, ions, molecules, molecular assemblies, aggregates) and in ultra-cold environments (cold atoms, Bose-Einstein condensates, cold molecules).

Our studies aim to understand and control, at the quantum level :

the individual dynamics of the object under study,
the perturbations induced by an environment on the dynamics of this object,
the contribution of individual dynamics to collective dynamics.
