Description : The hired assistant Professor will join the Physical Measurements (MP) department of the IUT of Saint Denis. The department comprises 11 permanent teachers and 4 technical and administrative technicians. The MP department trains versatile and multidisciplinary senior technicians in 3 years who carry out and operate measurements using a wide spectrum of knowledge in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials, electronics, computer science and quality. The MP department of Saint Denis welcomes a maximum of 60 students over each year of training, organized in 2 TD groups and 4 groups of practical work. The 3rd year of BUT Physical Measurements on the IUT of Saint Denis is also offered as an apprenticeship.

The hired assistant professor will be involved in the teaching of Physics (thermodynamics, heat transfers, vibrational mechanics, acoustics). The courses offered cover the entire 3 years of the BUT Physical Measurements with students and/or apprentices. Practical courses represent almost half of the whole formation.
